Josh and I believe in simplicity- especially when it comes to planning your wedding. We want simple, clear packages, helping you make easy decisions when you probably have so much decision fatigue already!
We desire to keep it easy for you, and keep photography the way it’s supposed to be- fun, and something you look back on with only joy. So when you book with Josh and me, you get what is the product of beauty and simplicity.
We believe in the focus of your wedding day being you two. We might help you decide where to do your first look, but we’ll stand back and document it happening.
We’re passionate about not disrupting the intimacy of those moments, only stepping back in on your signal. That’s how we shoot the rest of your day, stepping in to pose when needed (I’m looking at you, family photos), and being a calm prescence in the background, documenting the rest.

Yes! We’ll be wherever you are.
We love to travel, and we’ll happily discuss what pricing looks like when we have more details of your day.
We also have special destination travel deals as well! Reach out about your day and we will happily share our discount with you.

We love our online gallery delivery software called Pic Time! It’s amazing for us, and somehow better for you. You’ll receive a link to all your photos where you can download, print, and share to your heart’s desire. And yes, please send this link to all your friends and family! Bring them in on the fun!

Easy answer- it depends! On a wedding day we typically deliver about 100 per hour of coverage, so that usually averages out to 800-1,000 photos, but could be easily more, or less depending on what your wedding day looks like! For engagement sessions where the focus is on the photos, we’re going to deliver around 60-100 photos!

Of course! Most venues that we’ve worked with request this as well. We’d be happy to share our information with your venue.

Yes. Rest assured that we handle your once-in-a-lifetime memories with the utmost care we can. We store RAWS in multiple places locally and on the cloud, for safekeeping.

Honestly, we don’t expect you to know how to pose! As the photographers, it’s our job to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and pose you as little or much as you’d like. We’ll give you prompts of what to do, giving you some freedom in those poses and guide you every step of the way.

Once you reach out, we’ll get in touch to schedule a call to get to know you! If we’re a good match for you, we’ll move forward with locking in your date and planning your session. If you booked a wedding, we’ll be planning your engagement session and then drafting a wedding day timeline.

We’ll deliver previews within 72 hours and a full wedding gallery within 6-10 weeks. Couple sessions will have 72 hour previews and full gallery delivered within 4 weeks.

Josh & I have experienced our own wedding day fly by, and we want to help savor every moment we can for you! That’s why we include a second shooter in most packages, so we can split up and create a smoother wedding day for you. We want to capture that special gift, the hug with your dad, and other moments that just happen simultaneously!

We hired Josh and Kate for our May 2023 wedding in Aylett, VA. From the beginning, Josh and Kate took the time to get to know my husband and I, and to gain a better understanding of our vision for our wedding day. When it came to communication leading up to the wedding, they were wonderful, promptly answering any and all questions we had. Additionally, they were exceptionally kind and personable the entire way through— thus we were always smiling or laughing. On the day of our wedding, Josh and Kate were timely and flexible. They went as far as keeping track of our wedding events schedule to help keep the day moving along according to our wishes. These two also made taking photos so easy and so fun! You do not have to worry about knowing how to pose with Josh and Kate, because they are full of ideas and do a great job gently guiding and encouraging you.
